Fix mapi32.dll is corrupt or wrong version error

• From windows explorer, locate the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Msmapi\1033
• Now, right click Msmapi32.dll file and then rename it (where msmapi32.dll & mapi32.dll that in the error message is different from the other one)
• Now type msmapi32.old and enter to rename it

Thereafter, you can try starting outlook and it is most likely to open up properly after repairing itself.

Repair Outlook installation from control panel, however if the damage is severe one needs to reinstall outlook 2003.
